Serious stuff

Putting our serious hat on (we've washed our hands too, don't worry).

1. ALLERGIES: All of our bars and the insertions are currently made in a tiny kitchen by elves. While they are level 2 food hygiene trained and they know not to mix peanuts or milk into places they shouldn't go, we can't guarantee that our bars are allergen free. Also, if you're allergic to elf dust, probably don't buy NeverLost chocolate bars.

2. SHELF LIFE: Because all of our recipes are free from preservatives and UPF stuff, this means our hand made chocolate bars have a relatively short shelf life. We currently stamp an 8 week best before date on all our bars, so if they get lost in your treat jar they might not be at their best after that date.

3. VARIATIONS: Because we're a small artisan chocolate business, some ingredients are subject to change depending on availability. When and where possible, we will make this clear - but all our bars are legally what they say on the tin (its glassine paper but you get what I mean).

4. PROBLEM? As mentioned, we're a small artisan chocolate company, we don't use preservatives and these are hand made chocolate products - so there might be inconsistencies between bars or orders.

Common variations include chocolate bloom (white discolouration on your chocolate, it is still edible), mis-shapen bars (heat can warp chocolate) or bar leakage (sometimes fillings try to escape - just eat them faster). If you receive your order and something isn't right, let us know and we'll try to sort it out. 

5. ORDER DISPATCH: Because we don't hold a huge stock, we tend to produce bars to order. This might mean a delay in your delivery. Our production days are currently Mondays and Tuesdays and dispatch days are Thursday and Fridays. Where possible we will try and be clear about turnaround times.

6. SHIPPING: Currently we can only ship to the UK. If you want to buy NeverLost bars and have them delivered by hand to your address outside the UK, you can always get in touch to organise a flight and hotel for one of our elves.
